Spy photos of the next-generation Audi Q3 have been captured for the first time near the Nürburgring in Germany. The vehicle is heavily camouflaged, and the captured images show design touches that align with the Audi Q6 e-tron model. Although this latest model has been revealed as a prototype, the actual production models have yet to be spotted.

The new car appears to retain the split headlight design. This overall design is consistent with most upcoming Audi vehicles. The Audi SQ5 also looks sharp and bold, and those slim headlights will also be used in the forthcoming RS6 Avant.

The new generation of the Q3 seems to be significantly larger than its predecessor. In fact, its dimensions appear to be similar to those of the first-generation Audi Q5.

The car's taillights appear production-ready, with an expectation of a modern light strip connecting the rear lights. The exhaust outlets are not visible, which suggests it may be a prototype vehicle or that the exhausts have been intentionally concealed. There is a charging port on the left side of the car, and it also features a mandatory electrical warning label on the window, confirming it is indeed a hybrid vehicle. The Q3 hybrid will share many features with the upcoming Tiguan hybrid.

Rumors suggest that two hybrid versions of the car will be produced. The standard version will generate 201 horsepower, while the second model will produce 268 horsepower. The car will also share many similarities with the Cupra Terramar.

Following Audi's timeline, the next generation of the Q3 is expected to debut sometime in 2024, replacing the current model that has been on sale for six years.
