The new vehicle is based on the electric sedan Zeekr 007 and marks Zeekr's second entry into the shooting brake category after launching the Zeekr 001 on April 15, 2021. Its dimensions are impressive: measuring at a length of 4,864 mm, width of 1,900 mm, height between 1,460 / 1,445 mm with a wheelbase stretching to 2,925 mm.
The lower-priced variants of the Zeekr 007 GT feature a single motor with a maximum power output of 310 kW and peak torque of 440 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just over five seconds. The dual-motor version boasts a combined power output of up to 475 kW and peak torque of up to 710 Nm, capable of accelerating from 0 to100 km/h (62 mph) in just under four seconds.
Powering the Zeekr is CATL's ternary lithium batteries along with their proprietary golden battery based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry. The LFP battery offers a capacity of up to75 kWh providing a CLTC range of up to650 km (404 miles). Meanwhile,the long-range nickel-cobalt-manganese(NCM)batteries hold100 kWh delivering a CLTC range reaching825 km(513 miles).
According to Zeekr engineers,their LFP battery features world-leading charging speeds,filling from10%to80%in only10.5 minutes.Built upon an800-volt high-voltage platform,equipped standardly with LiDAR technology,this model ensures superior safety measures and driving assistance features.Zeeker001 remains among top sellers withinZeeckrs lineup since debut—totaling99_984units sold by year-end2024 comprising45 .01 %of222_123total deliveries accordingCNEVPost data.Despite similar designs between models,Zeeckris aiming reach distinct customer bases while maintaining competitive edge.Alongside targeting fashion-tech conscious consumers through emphasis futuristic style provided affordably compared rival luxury offerings already popular GCC region adds substantial allure given increasing demand sustainable performance vehicles .
