Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Officially Launched in China
On February 27, Xiaomi officially launched the SU7 Ultra in China with an official guide price of RMB 529,900. As the high-performance version of the Xiaomi SU7, the Ultra variant offers a range of premium features, including a carbon fiber dual-air duct front hatch, 21 carbon fiber parts, 21-inch U-shaped forged wheels, carbon fiber exterior mirrors, wheel arch decorations, and more optional upgrades.
Exterior: A 24K Gold Badge for the Ultimate Statement
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra comes in a highly saturated yellow paint with silver track stripes, giving it a sporty look. The front features U-shaped aerodynamic blades on both sides of the bumper, a front scoop, and a diamond-mesh air intake in the center.
The headlights are blacked out, and silver paint accents are applied to the front hood and trunk lid. Notably, the badge is made of 24K gold, making it a valuable collector’s piece and even a potential theft target.
Xiaomi offers multiple body color options, categorized as classic, luxury, and sports car colors. The classic options include pearl white and obsidian black, while the luxury lineup features space silver and parrot green. For those who prefer a sportier look, lightning yellow is available. This diverse selection ensures that every owner finds their perfect match.
On the side, the Ultra logo is displayed on the lower edge of the door in silver paint. The car also features a carbon fiber roof, side skirts, and mirror shells. Meanwhile, LIDAR is retained on the roof, and a U logo is placed above the front fender’s lateral camera.
In terms of dimensions, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra measures 5,115 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,465 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
At the rear, the SU7 Ultra retains a carbon fiber spoiler, although it is more subtle compared to the prototype version. The rear bumper features a new aerodynamic diffuser and other enhancements, finished in a black and yellow color scheme. A track-inspired stripe runs across the trunk, complementing the front styling.
Interior: Sporty Carbon Fiber Design
Inside, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra follows a black and yellow color scheme that enhances its sporty character. The overall layout remains similar to the standard SU7, but Xiaomi has added extensive carbon fiber elements. These include a carbon fiber sports steering wheel, center console, seat backs, air conditioning vents, welcome pedals, and door panels.
The car also features an exclusive cockpit UI design along with a new sport steering wheel and sport seats.
Performance: 0-100 km/h in 1.98 Seconds
Powering the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is a three-motor all-wheel-drive system, consisting of dual V8s and a V6s electric motor setup. The system produces a maximum output of 1,548 hp, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds. It reaches 200 km/h in 5.86 seconds and completes the quarter-mile in 9.23 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 350 km/h.
The car supports ultra-fast charging with a 5.2C charging rate, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 11 minutes. It is equipped with a CATL Kirin II track-specific high-power battery pack, featuring a peak voltage of 897V.
