Volkswagen has introduced the ID.7 GTX Tourer, now recognized as the most powerful wagon in the brand’s history. This electric vehicle features a striking design and a luxurious interior alongside high-performance electric engines, outshining the long-established Golf R Wagon.
Performance Overview
The ID.7 GTX is equipped with two electric motors that generate a combined output of 335 horsepower, surpassing the Golf R’s 315 horsepower. This new model also features an all-wheel-drive setup.
The rear motor alone contributes 282 horsepower. It comes with an 86 kWh battery, promising a range of over 600 kilometers on a single charge, with rapid charging capabilities reaching 70% in just 30 minutes.
Exterior Design Highlights
The ID.7 GTX Tourer showcases a more aggressive and sporty aesthetic, featuring redesigned bumpers, polished black accents, and exclusive 20 or 21-inch wheels, along with red highlights throughout the interior.
With a storage capacity of 603 liters, it triples when the rear seats are folded. A panoramic sunroof is also available for an additional cost, and Volkswagen plans to launch this model in the spring.
