The Hyundai Elantra N, with its 286 horsepower turbocharged engine and exceptional driving experience, has carved a distinctive identity in the compact sedan market, starting at a price of $34,000. Now, Hyundai's N division has decided to introduce the Elantra N TCR Edition, a special version inspired by Touring Car Racing (TCR).
This new car features a massive rear wing that is impossible to ignore, but there are no performance updates or engine enhancements to report.
Its uniqueness lies in its exterior design, with a large carbon fiber spoiler and an adjustable aerodynamic wing designed to increase downforce at high speeds.
Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with lightweight 19-inch wheels to reduce weight, enhancing handling, while high-performance developed brakes increase the car's stopping power.
Inside, it features a steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara and blue seatbelts adorned with TCR Edition logos. Unfortunately, no mechanical upgrades have been provided, as it retains the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine found in the standard Elantra N, producing 276 to 286 horsepower and the same torque.
The new model is set to launch in South Korea in December and will be available globally in 2025.
