Toyota has officially kicked off the production of the all-new 2025 Camry, the ninth generation of this beloved sedan, at its factory located in Kentucky. This year's model will be exclusively available in the U.S. market with a hybrid engine option.
The Toyota Camry has a long-standing legacy in American manufacturing, with production beginning in the 1980s. With high hopes, Toyota anticipates that this latest generation will further solidify its dominance in the North American sedan market.
A Historic Sedan with Unmatched Success
Over the years, the Toyota factory in Kentucky has produced more than 11 million Camry vehicles, showcasing the model's immense popularity across the United States. Remarkably, in 2023, the Camry ranked among the top 10 best-selling vehicles, a notable feat for a sedan at a time when consumer preferences are shifting towards crossovers and SUVs.
Engine Options and Specifications for the U.S. Market
The new Toyota Camry 2025 will be equipped with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid engine, delivering 225 horsepower for the front-wheel-drive model and 232 horsepower for the all-wheel-drive variant, paired with an electronic CVT transmission. The starting price for this model will be set at $28,400 before taxes.
As the Camry prepares to enter the Middle Eastern markets, we will provide updates on pricing, engine options, and specifications.
