Cars – The Formula E has announced that tickets for the Jeddah E-Prix 2025 are now on sale, with the race moving from Diriyah to the new host city of Jeddah. Early bird ticket prices start at 50 Saudi Riyals (approximately $13), allowing fans to enjoy a 25% discount before general sales begin on December 22, when tickets will start at 70 Saudi Riyals.
After six successful events in Diriyah, Formula E will return to Saudi Arabia for the seventh consecutive event. The Jeddah E-Prix 2025 will take place on February 14 and 15 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit along the Red Sea coast.
Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E, stated, “Bringing Formula E to Jeddah for the first time is an exciting milestone for the championship. Saudi Arabia has been a key part of our journey, and the race in Jeddah reflects our commitment to growing the sport in new, dynamic cities around the world. The combination of Jeddah's rich motorsport culture and its progressive vision for sustainability makes it an ideal host for Formula E. We can't wait to see the cars lighting up the iconic Corniche Circuit and delivering an amazing inaugural race for the fans.”
This will be the first time fans in Saudi Arabia can get a glimpse of the brand new GEN3 Evo race car as it tests on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit after development. The new GEN3 Evo can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.82 seconds, which is 36% faster than the previous GEN3 and 30% faster than current F1 cars.
Alberto Longo, co-founder and chief officer of Formula E, expressed, “We are thrilled to bring Formula E to Jeddah for the first time in 2025. This city embodies a unique blend of tradition and innovation that will enhance our championship.
