What's New in the 2025 Mazda BT-50?
The external updates begin with the front, featuring a new grille and updated front bumper, along with a new tailgate design and updated rear lights. The pickup also gets new wheel designs and the largest front and rear logos seen on any Mazda vehicle to date.
Inside, we observe a new 9-inch infotainment screen that lends a more modern design to the cabin, with the size of the digital instrument cluster increasing from 4.2 inches to 7 inches, providing instantaneous vehicle data such as tire pressure, steering angles, and driving modes.
The Mazda BT-50 facelift comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, using more luxurious materials on the doors, center console, and dashboard.
Same Platform and Technology as Isuzu D-Max
It is worth noting that the Mazda BT-50 relies on the same platform as the Isuzu D-Max and shares most of its technologies. However, Mazda has now announced the addition of more advanced safety systems to the pickup, including adaptive cruise control, rear congestion warning, and an automatic emergency braking system capable of better detecting cyclists and pedestrians in turns.
The truck is powered by a 1.9-liter turbo diesel engine with 150 horsepower or a 3.0-liter turbo diesel engine with 190 horsepower, both paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, with rear or four-wheel drive depending on the trim.
