As the Kia Sportage 2025 reemerges in the public eye, this highly anticipated model is set to make its official debut in November. Just hours ago, Kia's local branch released a short clip on YouTube, showcasing the exterior design of the new Sportage, stirring excitement among eager fans.
This new model is not entirely new but rather a mid-cycle update of the existing fifth-generation Sportage. Nonetheless, both the front and rear designs have been meticulously adjusted, and the interior has undergone technological upgrades to better meet modern consumer needs.
Designers have updated the daytime running lights, giving the Sportage a distinctive look, and the grille has also been redesigned.
At the rear, the new tail light design will add a touch of fashion to the Sportage, and a new rear bumper is also expected, providing more wheel and color options.
The interior features an updated dashboard with a new curved screen, exuding a strong sense of technology. The Kia Sportage 2025 has introduced a new dual-spoke steering wheel and has adjusted the central console, enhancing the overall interior quality of the vehicle.
This series of design updates will also apply to the short-wheelbase version of the Sportage, and the long-wheelbase versions for the North American, Australian, and Korean markets will share the same updates.
The new Sportage will continue to be based on the existing platform, and the engine family is expected to remain unchanged, covering conventional gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid versions.
Kia is expected to provide more details for the Korean market in November, during the official unveiling of the updated crossover, with the European version likely to follow in 2025, and specifications for the North American market to follow soon after.
