The Aston Martin Vanquish returns to the market as an innovative GT car, showcasing its remarkable design and outstanding performance. This new model is distinguished by its ability to offer unparalleled comfort and sporty performance, with a production limited to less than 1000 units annually. The Vanquish is hailed as the most powerful model in the brand's history, equipped with a 5.2L V12 twin-turbo engine generating 824 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels via an electronic limited-slip differential.
This allows the Vanquish to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, achieving a top speed of 344 km/h, making it the fastest production car from Aston Martin to date. The chassis is constructed from aluminum, with a 75% increase in lateral stiffness compared to the DBS 770 Ultimate. Additionally, the wheelbase has been extended by 80 mm, and the vehicle is equipped with an upgraded suspension system featuring Bilstein DTX dampers. Aston Martin states that the new car excels in various driving modes, providing both comfort and sportiness.
The Vanquish also features thicker anti-roll bars, an improved electric steering system, and a new electronic stability control system. The latter effectively predicts and avoids sudden interventions, maintaining optimal grip levels to ensure vehicle stability. Simultaneously, it employs carbon-ceramic brakes with 16.1-inch (410 mm) front discs and 14.2-inch (360 mm) rear discs, offering significantly improved braking performance compared to previous systems.
The designers have blended classic design elements with modern details, resulting in an intriguing aesthetic. The front features a traditional wide grille, Matrix LED headlights, and a large diffuser, complemented by a sculpted hood inspired by Formula 1 to aid in cooling the V12 engine.
At the rear, there is a simplified carbon fiber structure and unique side lines. Hidden door handles, sporty glass sections, muscular touches, and 21-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires add to its sporty character.
The rear is updated with a distinctive "Kamm Tail" design featuring seven LED light blades. At the bottom, there is a large diffuser and a stainless steel exhaust system with four outlets, with an optional titanium exhaust reducing weight by 10.5 kg. The two-seater car offers a familiar interior inspired by the Vantage and DB12, equipped with a 10.25-inch digital display and a 10.25-inch entertainment system.
Other notable features include 16-way power-adjustable front seats with Alcantara upholstery. The model is also equipped with a Bowers & Wilkins audio system with 15 speakers and optional wooden touches. While Aston Martin has not disclosed pricing, deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
