In Egypt, following the previous recall of the 2023 and 2024 Nissan Z models, Saudi Arabia has announced two new recall notices. The first recall involves 445 units of the 2020 to 2024 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300RRQ motorcycles.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, the reason for the recall is a defect in the front brake cylinder, which could lead to reduced brake performance and increased stopping distance, thereby raising the risk of an accident. The Ministry also urged affected motorcycle owners to verify their vehicle identification numbers on the Recalls.sa website and contact their dealer in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar for necessary free repairs. Additionally, 67 units of the 2022 and 2023 Ford Mustang models were also recalled due to a defect in the steering assist control unit, which may cause loss of steering control while driving, thereby increasing the likelihood of an accident.
