Subaru recently announced that it will stop the production of the iconic Outback model in Japan. However, as a special farewell, they have launched the last special edition named the '30th Anniversary Edition', which will be limited to only 500 units.
This special edition features numerous unique improvements in its exterior, such as matte black 18-inch wheels, black front and rear bumpers, wheel arches, and side skirts, along with black side mirrors and roof rails. The rear also sports a black spoiler, making the overall design particularly eye-catching. Additionally, it bears unique badges that further enhance its distinct appearance.
In terms of performance, the 30th Anniversary Edition is equipped with high-response frequency dampers provided by Hitachi Astemo, tuned by STI, which improves its performance in the front, while a revised set of dampers is installed at the rear, aiming to provide better comfort and handling during driving.
The interior has also seen simple upgrades, featuring a Harman Kardon sound system with ten speakers and a subwoofer. The interior uses new Napa leather in ivory and black colors, complemented by silver stitching that enhances the overall luxury feel. The door panels are particularly striking with '30th Anniversary' stitching, ensuring passengers never forget that this is not just an ordinary Subaru.
Reservations for this model will open on November 10 and will remain until March 2025. Price details have not yet been announced.
