In this electric future era, Lamborghini is charging ahead with new electric models like the Timiaruo and Revolt. However, independent designer Marco Maltese chose to revisit the past by redesigning the Lamborghini Bravo—a forgotten concept car from the 1970s. In a moment of digital nostalgia, Maltese reimagined Bravo as a futuristic masterpiece.
Reimagining the Future: Lamborghini Bravo
The original Lamborghini Bravo debuted at the Turin Motor Show in 1974, and although it never went into production, it was a true work of art with its sharp lines. It was based on the Lamborghini Urraco, featuring a 3.0-liter V8 engine capable of producing 300 horsepower. While Bravo never made it to the market, it holds a special place in Lamborghini's heritage.

Nearly half a century later, the digital reimagining of Bravo appears as a modern love letter to Gandini's legacy. Its sharp form reflects the dimensions of the Timiaruo, yet it is envisioned as a model that could ride on a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis derived from the Aventador. This allows the car to offer the Aventador's 6.5-liter V12 engine, the last of its kind before Lamborghini embraced electric vehicle concepts.

Like the original Bravo, this digital design features multiple vents on the hood and rear surface, which were signature design elements of the original model. Key design elements, including side air intakes and sharp rear arches, have been retained. It also sports a classic design that includes now-updated pop-up headlights to comply with modern safety regulations. At the rear, triangular exhaust outlets sit below the wing, while high-mounted LED taillights lend a futuristic appearance.

Inside, the design reflects the 1970s vibe with fixed seats covered in vintage materials and a simple dashboard featuring a full-width display. There’s also a tablet-like infotainment system, complemented by a few buttons placed on the steering wheel.
