The Saudi Ministry of Commerce recently issued an important announcement regarding a large-scale vehicle recall, involving up to 16,002 vehicles from General Motors' well-known brands Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac.
The specific models included in the recall are as follows:
Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, and Silverado LD totaling 8,527 vehicles.
GMC Sierra LD, Yukon XL, and Yukon totaling 6,896 vehicles.
Cadillac Escalade ESV and Escalade totaling 579 vehicles.
All recalled models are from the 2023 to 2024 model years.
The reason for the recall is due to a potential failure of the brake fluid warning light to function properly when fluid levels drop or leak, which could reduce brake performance and increase the risk of an accident.
The Ministry of Commerce urges affected vehicle owners to verify whether their vehicle's VIN is included in the recall by visiting the website Recalls.sa. Owners are also encouraged to contact General Motors, Aljomaih Automotive, and Global Agencies for necessary free vehicle updates.
