Recently, Nissan showcased four brand-new vehicles featuring unique and eye-catching designs at the Beijing Auto Show. These models are currently prototypes, but Nissan has concrete plans to introduce production versions in China alongside its local partner, Dongfeng. Among the four vehicles, two are fully electric: the Nissan Epoch sedan and the Nissan Epic SUV. The other two are plug-in hybrids: the Nissan Evo sedan and the Nissan Era SUV.
Nissan Epoch
Let's start with the Nissan Epoch, an all-electric sedan designed for urban driving. It will directly compete with the Tesla Model 3, featuring modern split LED headlights and a sleek aerodynamic exterior. Nissan has integrated numerous AI technologies into the vehicle, including a smart assistant capable of recognizing emotions.
Nissan Epic
Next is the fully electric Nissan Epic SUV, aimed at small families. It is similar in size to the Qashqai and features three screens inside, an interior fragrance system, and comfortable seats with back cushions.
Nissan Evo
The new Nissan Evo sedan will come with a plug-in hybrid engine, featuring a bolder design with a muscular front end and intriguing rear lights, along with a simplified interior reminiscent of Tesla vehicles, complete with an AI personal assistant.
Nissan Era
Finally, we have the Nissan Era hybrid SUV, which shares a similar design with the aforementioned Epic SUV but features a more rugged and powerful front. It is equipped with an advanced all-wheel-drive system and an activated air suspension for a comfortable driving experience on uneven terrain.
Nissan has confirmed plans to launch all four vehicles in the market by 2026, along with a fifth model that has yet to be announced.
