Kia has officially unveiled the all-new K4, designed to replace the Cerato (also known as Forte in the American market). This model boasts significant updates in both its exterior design and luxurious interior.
The K4 introduces a fresh design language that is bolder and more intricate compared to the current Cerato launched in 2018, incorporating elements inspired by the now-discontinued Stinger and the latest EV9 electric vehicle.
Notable design features include pronounced rear fenders, discreet rear door handles, and robust D-pillars reminiscent of the Stinger, giving the K4 a coupe-like profile. The vehicle is also equipped with new LED headlights and taillights, along with a fully digital dashboard.
Interior Highlights
The interior features a square steering wheel and a wide infotainment screen, with design elements influenced by the EV6, EV9, and the refreshed Sorento. Unlike these models that utilize a rotary gear shifter, the K4 opts for a traditional gear lever positioned on the center console.
Currently, Kia has revealed only the design aspects of the K4 without providing technical specifications or performance metrics. However, it is expected to launch with a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with a hybrid option available in select markets. More information about the K4 will be disclosed shortly.
