Kia EV9 has been awarded the Gold Award at the 2024 International Design Awards, as announced by Al-Jabr Commercial, Kia's dealer in Saudi Arabia. This competition was organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). This victory marks the first of its kind for Kia in this competition, following significant successes for the EV9 in the iF Design and Red Dot Awards, making it an unprecedented achievement in the world of design awards.
The vehicle secured the Gold Award in the Automotive and Transportation category during the awards ceremony held this September at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. This recognition enhances the EV9's distinction in design and innovation and reflects Kia's creative philosophy known as Opposites United.
