Making its international debut, the Jetuor T1 will be showcased at the 2024 Jeddah International Auto Show. It was officially launched in China on October 27, with prices ranging from 154,800 to 174,800 RMB.
Exterior
The Jetuor T1 retains the robust character of the boxy vehicle design while incorporating subtle urban adjustments such as a bold black bumper and prominently protruding wheel arches. Compared to the more rugged T2, the T1 presents a more restrained appearance.
The vehicle emphasizes practicality in its design details, featuring circular front and rear light assemblies that not only enhance recognition but also align with modern aesthetics. The open-design door handles are not only easy to use but also highlight the practicality-focused design philosophy.
This model not only inherits the tough demeanor of the boxy vehicle but also optimizes details to better meet the aesthetic and practical needs of modern urban consumers.
Interior and Comfort
Inside, the Jetuor T1 adopts a modern and practical design approach. The embedded LCD dashboard provides clear driving data, while the floating central control panel makes operations more intuitive and straightforward. Notably, a row of physical buttons below the central console considers the driver's need to operate controls without looking, thereby enhancing safety while driving.
The steering wheel features a four-spoke design, and the front saddle area includes an electronic gear lever for easy operation, enhancing the technological ambiance of the cabin. Additionally, the inclusion of a wireless charging panel for smartphones and a mode-switching knob further meets modern consumers' demands for convenience and functionality.
Engine
Regarding power, the Jetuor T1 is equipped with Chery’s C-DM technology, providing a robust power source for the vehicle. Its 1.5TD hybrid-specific engine has a maximum output of 115kW, ensuring plentiful power for everyday driving.
In the Chinese market, the two-wheel-drive model features a single motor with a maximum power of 150kW. The four-wheel-drive model goes a step further, equipped with dual motors and boasting a maximum power of 320kW.
In terms of battery range, the two-wheel-drive model in China has a CLTC pure electric range of 150km, while the four-wheel-drive model can achieve up to 220km.
Overall, the Jetuor T1, deeply integrating the “C-DM technology” with the “boxy vehicle model” design philosophy, is more than just a vehicle; it represents a bold innovation in urban SUVs. We look forward to its release in the Middle Eastern market soon.
