Hyundai Motor reported global sales of 310,399 units in January 2025, marking a 2.3% decline compared to the same period last year. This total includes 46,054 units sold in South Korea and 264,345 units sold overseas.
Compared to January 2024:
Domestic sales (South Korea) fell 7.5%.
Overseas sales declined 1.4%.

Overseas Sales Performance
Hyundai sold 264,345 units in overseas markets in January 2025, a 1.4% decline compared to the same month last year.
A Hyundai Motor spokesperson attributed the decline in domestic sales to fewer working days due to the January holidays. He added:
“Despite ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty, we remain committed to strengthening risk management and enhancing global sales and production systems. By introducing next-generation Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) and Electric Vehicles (EVs), we aim to solidify our position as a premium brand that customers trust worldwide.”
