Hyundai has officially revealed images of the all-electric Creta, which will make its debut at the Bharat Motor Show in India on January 17.
In 2024, Hyundai introduced a fuel-powered version of the Creta for the Indian market. However, it remains unclear if the fully electric version will be sold in markets outside India.
The Hyundai Creta is classified as a compact SUV, measuring 4,330 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. The EV version closely resembles the fuel-powered model but features a closed front grille and an integrated
charging port for a modern, streamlined look.
The front and rear bumper designs have been refreshed, and the EV is equipped with 17-inch aerodynamic wheels. A convenient storage compartment under the front hood offers space for items such as charging cables.
The Creta EV comes loaded with advanced features, including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, 215/60 R17 tires, and a suspension setup consisting of a front MacPherson strut and a rear torsion beam.
Under the hood, the Creta EV is powered by a 99 kW front-mounted motor, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. It is available with two battery options: a 42 kWh battery offering a range of 390 km and a 51.4 kWh battery providing a range of 473 km. With a DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes.
