Gordon Murray Automotive will showcase three luxury supercars in Saudi Arabia for the first time from March 1 to 7. These models will be unveiled at SEVEN Concours 2024 in Riyadh. For the first time in the region, Gordon Murray will present its flagship model T.50, the track-focused T.50s Niki Lauda, and the latest T.33 Spider.
These three models highlight Gordon Murray's obsession with lightweight engineering. Meanwhile, the T.50 will demonstrate how design, engineering, performance, and a V12 engine can achieve an impressive 12,000 RPM. At this event, Philip Lee, CEO of Gordon Murray Group, will join renowned race driver and executive product director Dario Franchitti.
Lee stated, “Our customers in Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries are of great importance to us. When customers take delivery of their vehicles, they will experience the mastery of driving that we have provided in every model. It is a great honor to debut these cars and showcase the GMA brand in Saudi Arabia. We look forward to sharing our passion for performance with local car enthusiasts.”
The T.50 displayed at the Riyadh Concours is the last model from the “production series” designed to validate its capabilities before customer production begins. The vehicle features aerodynamic advantages and a Cosworth GMA V12 engine with 670 horsepower and a maximum RPM of 12,000. Each model has a usable luggage space of 295 liters, accessible through unique openings.
At the event, the T.50 will perform demo runs in front of the crowd, while the T.50s will showcase its powerful V12 engine. This race-ready model features a modified racing engine that uses 772 horsepower while reaching 12,100 RPM. Only 25 units of the T.50s will be produced, and a GMA XP1 version will be displayed in Riyadh. It is the first prototype, with a shimmering deep red touch. The car comes with a carbon fiber monocoque chassis.
The trio of GMA in Riyadh is completed by the T.33 Spider. With the roof open, owners will enjoy a more thrilling driving experience, hearing the roar of the Cosworth GMA.2 V12 engine with 617 horsepower and a displacement of 3.9 liters that exceeds 11,000 RPM.
