In Dammam, Saudi Arabia, the Heavy Truck and Equipment Exhibition is in full swing, attracting numerous transportation companies. Major companies are showcasing their latest products, with FUSO presenting cutting-edge trucks, trailers, and various technical solutions. The exhibition will run until November 21, 2024.
FUSO not only showcased its product line but also offered special promotions on after-sales services, with a special display of the Euro 5 compliant Aktros truck.
This exhibition is closely aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, featuring over 20 types of heavy vehicles designed for passenger and cargo transport.
Meanwhile, Tata Motors introduced its first truck equipped with an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) – the Tata Prima 4440.S AMT. This new vehicle is renowned for its reliability, exceptional performance, and outstanding range. Additionally, Tata showcased five high-performance products at the Dammam Heavy Equipment and Trucks Exhibition, designed to meet national requirements for a variety of applications.
The Tata Prima 4440.S AMT is touted as the ideal choice for transporting containers and heavy equipment. Its powerful and fuel-efficient automatic transmission comes with several intelligent features, such as a load-based cruise control system, acceleration management system, and automatic start-stop functionality to enhance fuel efficiency.
Powered by an 8.9-liter Cummins engine that meets Euro-V standards, the Tata Prima 4440.S AMT generates 400 horsepower and 1700 Nm of torque to ensure it can handle the heaviest loads and toughest terrains. The truck is also equipped with an air suspension system for improved ride quality and durability, while the modern cabin features comfortable seating and an adjustable steering wheel, further enhancing driver comfort and thus increasing productivity.
