Previously, rumors about the upcoming electric Dodge Charger Daytona SRT having another traditional internal combustion engine version have been confirmed. This news was validated through leaked images from the Stellantis factory.
According to third media reports, it is clear that the body is of a two-door coupe. The design includes a hatchback rear similar to the electric prototype that appeared a year ago. The car here has design lines similar to the prototype that was confirmed to be a real model arriving on the way.
The car features a transmission tunnel and drive line. The front of the car has a space for the engine with a suitable cavity for the fuel tank and a floor that does not seem to accommodate any electric batteries. The Dodge Charger Coupe will only be offered as an internal combustion engine car. On the roof, it appears that rumors of a full panoramic glass panel are indeed true, and this is expected to be an option.
These leaked images indicate that pre-production models will soon be spotted cruising the streets. This aligns with reports that the next generation Dodge Charger will arrive in the third quarter of next year. Before that, Dodge will undoubtedly start allowing more information to reach the media.
This car is equipped with a six-cylinder engine, which means there is no longer a V8 engine available. We hope Dodge can find a way to make the engine sound appealing as well.
