Mazda has introduced its latest SUV, the CX-80 for the 2025 model year, designed for Europe and other global markets, positioned between the smaller CX-60 and the larger CX-90.
With a length of approximately 196.6 inches and a height of 67.3 inches, the CX-80 is about 10 inches longer and 1 inch taller than the CX-60, while matching its 74.4-inch width.
Engine Options and Performance
In Europe, the CX-80 will feature a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder plug-in hybrid gasoline engine, producing a remarkable 323 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This variant boasts an electric-only range of 50 kilometers thanks to a 17.8 kWh lithium-ion battery.
Additionally, it will offer a 3.3-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with mild hybrid technology, yielding 250 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Luxurious Interior Features
The Mazda CX-80 will provide a choice of 6 or 7 seats, a tri-zone climate control system, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Key features include:

Bose premium audio system
