On December 17, 2024 (CST) , Chinese car brand CHERY launched its new model - Fulwin A8L. the new car has been extended in length.
For the engine, it is powered by a 1.5T C-DM plug-in system.
As for the price, the new car is available in five models, priced at 99,900 yuan - 139,900 yuan (SAR 51,518.43 - SAR 72,146.43).
In terms of appearance, the Fulwin A8L has been adjusted in detail compared to the current Fulwin A8 model in China.The front face adopts a polygonal grille and adopts a blackened treatment, together with the newly designed logo and the air intakes on both sides of the front bumper, the front face of the vehicle has a stronger visual impact while enhancing the sense of refinement.
The side of the body adopts a slender sliding back design, sports style is obvious, with 18-inch multi-spoke wheels, enhance the overall sense of classs. In terms of body dimensions, Fulwin A8L length, width and height are 4790*1843*1487mm, and the wheelbase is 2790mm.
The rear of the car also retains the design of the penetrating taillights, and the internal light cavity has been smoked, with the rear of the ducktail and glossy black bumper guard, to enhance the rear of the car's sense of sport.
Fulwin A8L has upgraded the interior part, the center console adopts more straight lines, and the two-tone interior color scheme effectively improves the texture as well as the sense of hierarchy inside the car, and the style is more simple and atmospheric.
Inside the car, Fulwin A8L did not continue the dual-screen design of the Fengyun A8, but instead used floating LCD instrumentation, 15.6-inch floating center-control screen, and the use of electronic pocket gear.
The car system adopts Lion 5.0, and the chip is Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155, which supports CarPlay, HiCar and CarLink connectivity.
In addition, the car will be equipped with L2+ level intelligent driving safety assistance systems such as forward collision warning, rear cross-collision assist, DOW door opening warning, 540-degree see-through chassis, lane departure assist, emergency lane keeping, rear proximity warning, and automatic emergency braking.
Engine-wise, the Fengyun A8L is equipped with the Kun 1.5T C-DM plug-in hybrid system.Among them, the 1.5T engine adopts direct injection turbocharging technology, with a thermal efficiency of 44.5%, a maximum power of 115kW and a maximum torque of 220Nm; and a front single motor with a maximum power of 150kW and a maximum torque of 310Nm.
In terms of range, the new car provides 70km and 145km pure electric range for choice, and the China Light-duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC) comprehensive fuel consumption is 1.01L/100km, which is an excellent performance in fuel economy.
