At the Jeddah International Motor Show, BYD in Saudi Arabia, unveiled the complete lineup of the company's hybrid and electric vehicles. This exhibition showcased nearly all of BYD's impressive models available in the global market.
Among the highlighted vehicles is the BYD Han, boasting a powerful 509 horsepower and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The vehicle is priced at 224,900 SAR, including taxes, with a monthly installment of 2155 SAR. Furthermore, it comes with a warranty of 6 years or 150,000 kilometers, an 8-year or 150,000-kilometer battery warranty, and 6 years of roadside assistance, along with a free home charger valued at 3500 SAR and a complimentary maintenance package for 3 years or 60,000 kilometers worth 4314 SAR. Additionally, customers have the option of a window tinting service priced at 1600 SAR.
The BYD Han features both front and rear motors, which together provide a total power of 509 horsepower, as previously mentioned, with a torque of 700 Nm and a single-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive.
Another notable vehicle is the BYD Seal, which delivers a total power output of 523 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Additionally, the BYD Atto 3 is an all-electric vehicle that produces 201 horsepower and has an electric range of 420 km on a single charge.
Moreover, the BYD Song Plus offers 197 horsepower with an acceleration time of 8.3 seconds, while the Qin Plus also boasts 197 horsepower with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.3 seconds; both hybrid models can achieve a total distance of 990 kilometers on a single charge.
The most impressive model showcased was the BYD Yang Wang U8, a hybrid sports vehicle that offers high performance and luxurious touches. It features a turbocharged gasoline engine and four electric motors, with the gasoline engine displacing 2 liters, delivering a torque of 1280 Nm. The fuel tank capacity is 75 liters, and it has a 49.05 kWh battery, providing an all-electric range of 180 km, a top speed of 200 km/h, and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, with fast charging capabilities of 110 kW, allowing for a charge from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes.
