BYD has revealed three new electric vehicles under its sub-brand Fang Cheng Bao, including the Speedster Super 9 concept car designed by Wolfgang Egger, the head of the design department. The Fang Cheng Bao brand focuses on electric SUVs.
The Speedster Super 9 is a two-seater electric supercar with an attractive appearance and butterfly doors. It is expected to be a fully electric vehicle rather than a hybrid like the Bao 5. The production version will be named Bao 9. The rear of the Super 9 features dual taillights shaped like the Fang Cheng Bao logo and a rear wing resembling a bridge.
The vehicle boasts a two-seater cockpit with integrated carbon fiber seats. The steering wheel resembles that of a racing car or a spacecraft, and the buttons on the center console have a distinctive design.
