Nissan has officially revealed the all-new 2025 Murano, which boasts deep updates in design and technology as it prepares for a launch in European and American markets in the upcoming months.
What's New in the Murano?
The vehicle features new 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment system and digital gauges, it’s the first Murano to offer front seats with massage functions, and the first to feature 21-inch wheels, with Nissan’s excellent “360-degree safety shield” system standard across all models.
Nissan has opted to eliminate most traditional buttons and switches, transferring their functions primarily to the screens, while adding a smart 3D surround camera and an additional heads-up display on the windshield in some trims. The vehicle supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for mobile integration, along with a Bose audio system featuring 10 speakers.
Exterior Design
The vehicle has undergone significant exterior updates, including new large front headlights, a revised front grille, and a roofline that leans closer to sporty coupe-like designs, with new narrow rear lights that stretch across the entire rear.
The width of the new 2025 Nissan Murano has increased by 2.6 inches, and its ground clearance has been raised by 1 inch, while its length and wheelbase remain unchanged.
New Turbo Engine
One of the most significant updates for the fourth generation of the Murano is the introduction of a completely new 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine, which replaces the previous 6-cylinder engine, producing 241 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque. This represents a decrease of 20 horsepower from the previous engine, but an increase of 27 Nm of torque. The vehicle comes with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Nissan will reveal the pricing of the vehicle close to its launch in early 2025.
