Aito brand announces that its new Aito M7 series has delivered more than 200,000 units within 12 months of its launch. Aito M7 is the second model of the Aito brand, which was co-founded by Huawei and Seres, although Seres recently acquired the Aito brand and its patents. The Aito M7 was launched in July 2022, offering three configurations.
The new Aito M7 was first launched on September 12, 2023, offering both five-seat and six-seat designs across five configurations in total. Later, the series added two smart driving levels with rear-wheel drive. The price range for the seven levels is between $35,100 and $47,000.
In 2024, the new Aito M7 series launched two new models: the new Aito M7 Ultra and the new Aito M7 Pro. Notably, the Pro was launched on August 26 and is available in four configurations priced between $35,100 and $40,700. The Pro is equipped with the basic version of Huawei ADS, supported by three millimeter-wave radars, 10 high-definition cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars for intelligent navigation assistance functions, which can detect and avoid small animals, pedestrians, and road obstacles, as well as provide smart parking assistance. The basic version does not come with LiDAR sensors. The front emergency braking function supports a maximum braking speed of 120 km/h.
On the other hand, the new Aito M7 Ultra is equipped with a 192-line LiDAR sensor, in addition to three millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 cameras, allowing the Ultra to utilize NCA (Navigation Control Assistant) functions.
Looking at its sales performance, after 25 days of the official launch, the new Aito M7 series received over 50,000 orders. Then, the total deliveries reached 30,635 units after 84 days of the launch and over 100,000 units after 170 days of the launch.
