Andy An, the CEO of Zeekr, stated in a recent interview that Zeekr aims to deliver 230,000 vehicles in 2024. However, as of August, Zeekr has only completed 52.8% of its ambitious sales target for 2024.

According to retail sales data from CPCA, Zeekr delivered 121,540 vehicles in China, marking an 81.4% year-on-year increase. This impressive sales figure is attributed to the launch of new models. However, Zeekr is still far from completing its sales target of 230,000 units for 2024.

This means that Zeekr has approximately 108,560 vehicles left to sell in the next four months, requiring a monthly sales rate of 27,140 units. Zeekr's previous highest sales record was 20,106 vehicles in June 2024, making it challenging for the brand to reach its ambitious target. However, Zeekr is likely to achieve this goal, primarily due to the launch of the 7X SUV.

The 7X is a highly anticipated electric SUV that began sales on September 20, and since then, Zeekr has successfully delivered over 1,000 units. The 7X is a mid-size crossover aimed at competing with the best-selling SUV in China, the Tesla Model Y.

The 7X is available for purchase in three trim levels, with prices ranging from $32,650 to $38,350. Its base price is $2,840 less than the China-made Model Y. Notably, the 7X became available for order on August 30, garnering 58,429 reservations within 21 days.

The 7X features substantial dimensions, measuring 4,825 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,656 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,925 mm. The rear-wheel-drive version has a maximum power output of 416 horsepower and is available with two battery options of 75 and 100 kWh, suitable for ranges between 605 and 780 kilometers. The all-wheel-drive version delivers a maximum power of 637 horsepower and comes standard with a 100 kWh battery for a range of approximately 705 kilometers.
