Previously, the company had initiated a promotional campaign in August, teasing the arrival of a new model that would represent Renault's future direction with a new logo, which was to be revealed in early September.
According to Renault Middle East, the new Arkana features a sleek sporty design and spacious interior, with a trunk capacity of 513 liters and 21 cm of rear legroom. The starting price is 94,749 Saudi Riyals, with the second model priced at 112,300 Saudi Riyals and the third model at 116,900 Saudi Riyals, all including VAT. The car is offered in Saudi Arabia in Tecno, Evolution, and Spirit Alpine trims.
The new car is equipped with a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine featuring a turbocharger, producing 155 horsepower. It achieves a fuel consumption of 17.5 km per liter, with a torque of 262 Nm, and utilizes a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with a fuel tank capacity of 50 liters.
The Arkana measures 4568 mm in length, 1820 mm in width, expanding to 2034 mm with mirrors, and has a wheelbase of 2720 mm, with a total curb weight of 1349 kg. It is based on the CMF-B platform from the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance.
Fahd bin Saad Al-Wahlan, Chairman of Al-Wahlan Holding Company, stated that the Renault Arkana is the latest addition to Renault's lineup in Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that the car features a modern elegant design with contemporary technologies. He confirmed that the car's launch in the Gulf markets will begin in Saudi Arabia, noting that the new Arkana has been tested under various harsh conditions in the country and has proven to be durable and highly reliable.
The car boasts a streamlined design with the new Renault logo on the front grille and black accents connecting the headlights, giving it a sporty character, along with a panoramic sunroof and LED headlights.
Inside, the Arkana features numerous amenities that vary by trim, including a 9.3-inch entertainment screen, push-button start, a sound system with six speakers, rear seat folding, and adaptive cruise control.
