With no steering wheel or pedals, the CyberCab is expected to cost less than $30,000, Elon Musk said. The Cybercab is expected to cost about $0.20 per mile to operate over time, with tax-inclusive prices likely to be $0.30 or $0.40 per mile.

Another feature of Cybercab is the lack of a charging port. In addition to this, Tesla has also designed a whole set of automated interior cleaning equipment for the Cybercab, from seat dusting to home screen decontamination, all of which are done autonomously by the appropriate robots without the need for a human being to intervene.

This launch, Tesla also unveiled the latest model of humanoid robots, and Elon Musk said that Optimus can do anything you want to do on a daily basis, such as: taking care of the children, walking the dog, mowing the lawn, going to the supermarket to buy things, and bringing a cup of coffee over for everyone.
