Suzuki is exploring ways to make the compact off-road vehicle Jimny more attractive. In 2023, Suzuki launched a larger five-door version of the Jimny and is now offering a special edition. This more practical version is referred to as XL in some markets. The five-door variant has received the Heritage special edition, featuring elegant body graphics reminiscent of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Customers can choose from colors like Pearl Blue-Black, Forest Green, Granite Gray, White, and Ivory, with the latter combined with a contrasting black roof.

In addition to the Heritage badges, the Jimny version features red mud covers at the front and rear, reflecting the design of the three-door Jimny Heritage launched last year. This vehicle sold out in just two days, prompting Suzuki to suggest that interested buyers book the new edition quickly. While the previous special edition was limited to 300 units, the five-door model will be manufactured in a total of 500 units.
The vehicle continues to rely on a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, a 5-speed manual transmission, and a four-wheel-drive system, producing 101 horsepower. Although its power is limited, it competes well with the Defender and Wrangler off-road.

The new special edition also features a 9-inch touchscreen and a rearview camera. Suzuki offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with cruise control, downhill descent control, automatic LED headlights, and rear parking sensors. The vehicle is priced at $24,200.
