After the unveiling of the Eking Mona M03, spy shots of another Eking vehicle likely to enter production this year have emerged. The car, codenamed F57, is expected to be named P6 and will be a four-door coupe. From the images, it appears to be a fastback model, and according to previous reports, it will have range options of 550, 600, and 700 kilometers.
Currently, the vehicle is heavily camouflaged, but we can see that it has a low hood in the front. It seems to have a rather elegant style similar to the P7 and Mona M03 models. The headlights appear to be mounted very low and might be T-shaped like those on the Mona M03. It’s also likely to feature Lidar units. From the side, we can see that there are hidden door handles, and it looks like there are frameless doors. The roof line flows smoothly to the rear, leading us to believe this is a fastback model.
Overall, various bulges can be seen in the spy shots, representing foam material used for the camouflage. The actual vehicle should be more aerodynamic. It’s possible the foam is what makes the car appear to be a fastback while it is actually just a sedan. A shot of the Michelin tires shows that the car is equipped with 21-inch wheels.
If this car is to be named P6, it should fall somewhere between the P5 and P7 in terms of size. However, there is already a very slight length difference between the two cars, with the P5 measuring a total of 4860 mm and the P7 at 4888 mm. The main difference is in the wheelbase, which is 2768 mm for the smaller car and 2998 mm for the P7. We can expect the new car to rely on the SEPA 2.0 platform and likely have a much longer wheelbase than the P5.
There are also spy shots of the interior of the P6, showing that the car has a style similar to other Eking vehicles. It features a centrally mounted infotainment screen, a wireless phone charging pad, and double cup holders. The center console is a streamlined design with another storage compartment beneath the wireless charging pads. As with other Eking cars, it is expected that it will not have a heads-up display.
The P6 will be a fully electric vehicle and will be available with three different ranges: 550, 600, and 700 kilometers. From the images, it seems that the new car might feature air suspension. The P6 is expected to be launched before the end of the year and could be part of the company's campaign to expand sales in Europe.
