Japan's Sharp has announced that it will develop its own pure electric car in cooperation with its parent company Hon Hai Precision Industry, and will display a concept electric car called LDK+ at the technology exhibition "Tech-Day" on 17 September.
And Sharp's model is expected to go on sale in a few years.
The vehicle is built on the Hon Hai MIH Alliance's EV Open Platform and developed in collaboration with Folofly Corporation.
The LDK+ concept electric vehicle is somewhat similar to a minibus, judging by the official pictures released.
