The General Transport Authority in Saudi Arabia has announced new measures to facilitate the transportation of pilgrims and visitors. To ease the journey for those visiting the holy mosque, various transportation options have been made available.
This includes providing 32 daily bus trips from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to Mecca for pilgrims and visitors. The authority stated that trips can be booked electronically through its website nwbus.sa.
The number of round trips each day is 32, with direct routes from Jeddah Airport to the Joroul station in Mecca. The authority clarified that it provides fully equipped buses at a nominal fare, ensuring transportation options for pilgrims around the clock.
