The Honda Civic Si 2025 has been slightly updated, showcasing a new design and improved interior. The model still retains the option for a 6-speed manual transmission, with a price increase of $850 to $29,950. As the only model in its category that retains a manual transmission, the Civic Si stands out.
Additionally, the car features a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 200 horsepower, with torque unchanged. The main changes in the 2025 model focus on the driving experience. Honda promises that the new Civic Si will be the most fun-to-drive vehicle they offer to customers. The new model boasts a sturdier body structure, including new B-pillar supports and rear door sills, while the shock absorbers have been retuned. These changes enhance the car's torsional and bending stiffness.
While the manual transmission may be seen as outdated technology by many, in the 2025 Civic Si, it has managed to enhance the vehicle's personality and uniqueness.
Exterior changes mirror those found in the updated Honda Civic models revealed in May. The front bumper has been redesigned, with the lower grille now featuring a slightly different shape and a hexagonal pattern. The fog light openings have also been reduced, utilizing simpler and more aesthetically pleasing black plastic. The Si's wheels have also been redesigned in a matte black finish, adding a sportier touch.
The interior has received a few updates as well, including USB-C ports and an entertainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, accessible via a larger 9-inch touchscreen. Like the Sport Touring Hybrid model, the Si will include Google Assistant, allowing users to leverage Google Maps and more from the Play Store.
Additional tech updates include Si-exclusive designs for the 10.2-inch display. The tachometer is also large and remains in the same position. The sport seats are more accommodating and come with standard heating features.
The car is set to go on sale starting at $29,950. Additionally, high-performance summer tires are available as an option for $300.
