The Cadillac Escalade has always represented American luxury, but the 2025 model undoubtedly takes that luxury to a new level. This newly launched model not only features exterior enhancements but also incorporates design elements from the electric Escalade IQ, with vertical headlights and distinctive turn signals, while the grille has been sportily adjusted to showcase the unique style across different models.
Lighting has become a core element in Cadillac's design, so seeing the illuminated logo on the new model is no surprise. The models in the Series, Premium, and Luxury Platinum all feature illuminated grilles. Additionally, the updated model is equipped with wheels measuring 22 inches, with options that extend up to 24 inches, making it the largest wheel size ever offered for the Cadillac Escalade.
The vehicle also features automatic opening and closing doors, with the driver’s door programmed to open automatically upon approach, along with sensors to prevent collisions with surrounding obstacles. The automatic lock function is activated when the brake pedal is pressed, while the other three doors can also be programmed for automatic opening and closing.
The rear design includes new tail lights and a repositioned logo, along with enhancements to the rear bumper and exhaust outlets, while the new model offers three new color options.
Despite being a facelift version, the interior has undergone comprehensive upgrades akin to the Escalade IQ and Celestic models. The interior features a massive curved central display with a 35-inch driver screen and a 20-inch passenger screen, along with a lower command screen that simplifies access to basic vehicle functions. Additionally, the new Escalade has a redesigned steering wheel with shift paddles and ambient lighting options with 128 colors, while the interior materials and design are more modern.
The second-row seating package includes a unique center console with two wireless phone chargers, a foldable table, two 12.6-inch displays, massage functions for the seats, and speakers integrated into the headrests. Additionally, new interior color options include Renaissance Red, Jet Black, and Sherwood Gray. The high-end Escalade versions feature exclusive seating and extensive carbon fiber trims.
Additional features include a standard Super Cruise system, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay, with a sound system featuring 19 speakers, as well as the AKG Studio Reverence system, which can support up to 40 speakers.
The new 2025 Cadillac Escalade has done away with the 3-liter three-cylinder diesel engine, replacing it with a 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine. The base model produces 420 horsepower and 624 Nm of torque, while the Escalade “V” versions reach up to 682 horsepower and 885 Nm of torque. The sole transmission option is a 10-speed automatic, and the engine and independent front and rear suspension systems are carried over unchanged from the previous model. Production of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade is set to commence at the end of this year, with pricing yet to be announced.
