Genesis has recently unveiled two concept cars that showcase the evolution of the brand. The Neolun concept represents a high-quality luxury SUV equipped with rotating seats and a heating system, capable of competing with the BMW X7, Mercedes GLS, and Cadillac Escalade. Additionally, the new GV60 Magma concept lays the groundwork for a performance vehicle akin to the BMW M and Mercedes AMG.
Genesis stated that these vehicles represent a “critical point in the brand's development.” The Neolun is a full-size electric SUV with unique exterior touches. For instance, the B-pillar has been eliminated, allowing for an open cabin and easy access through rear-hinged or front doors.
Heating elements are available in the door trim, floor, dashboard, and seat backs. Furthermore, the front seats can rotate to provide a shared experience in the cabin. An adjustable screen opens from the headliner in the rear seat, similar to BMW's rear display. Genesis has indicated that these new hinge doors are production-ready, and the rear entertainment and heating systems are also suitable.
Additionally, the GV60 Magma indicates a completely new level of variations. The brand aims to offer a Magma model for each of its models, and the GV60 seems to be just the beginning, equipped with enhanced battery and motor technology. Moreover, it features unique exterior details and a specially tuned suspension. It is also wider and lower than the regular GV60, with an air intake to cool the battery. The interior benefits from special seating, leather upholstery, and double diamond stitching.
