Audi has quietly released a teaser for the Sportback version of the Q6 E-tron, confirming its official debut on October 14 at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. The fully electric coupe-SUV is expected to hit the market in 2025. The sole teaser image highlights the Sportback's sloping roofline and refined rear design, indicating its role in expanding the Q6 E-tron lineup. This will mark Audi's fourth SUV offering two body styles, following the Q3 and Q5 with ICE engines, and the fully electric Q4 E-tron.
As expected from previous spy shots, the Sportback variant features a reimagined glass section and a ducktail-shaped rear spoiler. The sculpted wheel arches and LED taillights carry over from the standard model, along with the shark fin antenna. A glimpse of the charging port, discreetly situated on the rear fender, can also be spotted.
The Sportback was quietly unveiled in an announcement celebrating the five-star Euro NCAP safety rating awarded to the Q6 E-tron, which also applies to the Sportback model, along with performance-focused S and RS variants.
It is likely that the coupe-crossover will share electric powertrain options with the Q6 e-tron, available with single and dual motors, equipped with 83 kWh or 100 kWh batteries. The fastest version is the SQ6 e-tron with 509 horsepower, although the more powerful RS Q6 e-tron is expected to follow soon, rumored to produce over 600 horsepower.
