Recently, an increasing number of six-wheel modified vehicles have appeared on the market, with Apocalypse Manufacturing being a well-known brand from Florida, USA. The vehicle we see in the pictures is their latest 6×6 custom product. Apocalypse has transformed the Land Rover Defender into what they call the 'World Ender'.
The company cut the vehicle's body before extending it and adding a third axle along with two extra wheels. More importantly, unlike some cheaper 6×6 conversions, these two extra wheels are not just for show but are functional, meaning this is a true six-wheel drive vehicle.
The modifications go beyond just the extra wheels. The Florida-based company has also upgraded the Defender's suspension, allowing it to raise or lower its ride height by 8 inches at the touch of a button. Additionally, it features military-grade 20-inch wheels covered with massive 38-inch tires, ready to tackle any tough off-road trails.
Various changes have been made to the Land Rover's body, including new wide fenders, sliding plates, side steps, and a bright orange stripe at the front. LED lights are mounted on the roof alongside a roof rack, while the rear features sport bars and a full-size spare tire in the trunk.
This giant is powered by the standard 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine offered with the Defender, which produces 518 horsepower and 625 Nm of torque. There is no word on the exact weight of the vehicle, but it is clear that it is slightly heavier than a typical Defender, which will reduce its acceleration time.
The version shown in the pictures has already been delivered to a customer in Florida. However, the company can manufacture more units for those interested, with a price tag of $374,999.
