The 2025 Toyota Camry has been introduced in the U.S. market with a hybrid powertrain only, but this does not mean the car has abandoned traditional powertrains. In the Middle East, it has been launched with a conventional gasoline engine, featuring a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 201 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque, maintaining the same figures as the previous generation model. This power is 26 horsepower less than the hybrid version in the Middle East, while the traditional engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission instead of CVT.
The Toyota Camry is offered with a conventional combustion engine only in countries like the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, where hybrid vehicles are not as prevalent as in some European and American markets. Nonetheless, the 2025 Toyota Camry is available with an optional hybrid system in the Middle East, but with front-wheel drive only.
In terms of design, the Middle Eastern version of the Toyota Camry retains the same appearance as the American model, with no significant external or internal changes. The standard version relies on 16-inch steel wheels, while the higher trims come with 18-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, the base version features an 8-inch entertainment system screen, while the higher version relies on a 12.3-inch display.
