Following the unveiling of the 2025 Porsche 911 with multiple design updates and a hybrid engine in the GTS category for the first time in the car's history, Porsche now reveals similar updates for the 911 GT3.
Aesthetic Refinements
Starting with Porsche's signature subtle enhancements, the 911 GT3 sees minor yet impactful changes, including larger LED headlights, an enlarged air intake on the front bumper, an updated rear diffuser, and a reformed rear wing, all complemented by several other intricate touches.
Inside, Porsche introduces new lightweight seats with heating capabilities, designed for easy removal of the headrest padding for comfortable helmet use during track driving. Additionally, Porsche offers an option for seats made from carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic to minimize weight.
Performance Specifications
The 911 GT3 retains its 4.0-liter naturally aspirated 6-cylinder engine located at the rear axle, updated to reduce carbon emissions while maintaining 502 horsepower, though the torque drops from 469 Nm to 448 Nm in the new model.
This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or Porsche's renowned 7-speed PDK automatic transmission. The automatic version accelerates from 0 to 97 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and achieves a top speed of 310 km/h, while the manual version reaches 97 km/h in 3.7 seconds with an improved top speed of 313 km/h.
Mechanical Enhancements
One of the most significant updates to the new Porsche 911 GT3 is the improved suspension system, enhancing downforce during high-speed driving to maintain balance and grip. Additionally, the vehicle's weight is reduced thanks to the introduction of new silver aluminum wheels, with magnesium wheels also available.
The 2025 911 GT3 Touring variant returns without the large rear wing, featuring new interior leather and a custom performance package focused on weight reduction, achieved through adding a carbon roof, magnesium wheels, and other carbon components in the suspension system, with the option to add rear seats for the Touring version for the first time in the GT3 model.
Global Pricing
Porsche will open orders for the 2025 911 GT3 before the end of the year, with deliveries expected to global dealerships next summer, starting at a price of $224,495 (approximately 842,000 Saudi Riyals), marking a $40,000 increase from the 2024 model.
