The 2025 Lotus Emira lineup has expanded globally to include a third model called the Turbo SE. This new model joins the regular Emira Turbo and Emira V6 variants, enhancing the vehicle’s performance and equipped with a range of unique features. Like the base model, the new Turbo SE comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder AMG turbocharged engine. However, rather than capping at 360 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque, the Turbo SE delivers a total of 400 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque.
The new car is exclusively sold with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the V6 versions remain the only ones offered with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The additional horsepower and torque of the Turbo SE means it can reach 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the standard Emira Turbo. The car's top speed has also been increased by 18 km/h to 290 km/h.
The automaker has equipped the new variant with a standard Driver's Package, which includes sportier suspension settings, two-piece ventilated brake discs, and launch control. The car features a unique set of 20-inch V-shaped satin gray wheels, zinc gray paint, an Alcantara headliner, red brakes, a new car logo, and black Lotus branding with black exhaust outlets.
Lotus states that the letters “SE” in the new model name honor the “Special Equipment” package that has been offered in many models over the past years. Sales of the three Emira variants for 2025 have begun in several countries across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa.
