The Lincoln Navigator has been on sale for several years, and it has recently been refreshed to enhance its appeal against the Cadillac Escalade. The 2025 Navigator retains the same 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine from the older model, producing 440 horsepower. However, aside from that, it is a different vehicle inside and out. Dominating the dashboard is a massive new 48-inch infotainment screen, while first and second-row passengers can enjoy seats with massage, heating, and cooling functions.
Like the Escalade, the new Navigator offers a fantastic mix of features such as large wheels, comfort, and advanced technologies. The standard 22-inch wheels can be replaced with larger 24-inch options. The "Rejuvenate" feature harmonizes the release of fragrances from the vehicle, ambient lighting, massage, climate control, and more into a single experience aimed at relaxing the driver. There are various modes to match the driver's mood, and fortunately, this feature can only be used while parked.
This feature is only available for front-row passengers, but second-row passengers can also enjoy seats with massage, cooling, and heating functions, while the third row is equipped with heated seats. The vehicle features 14 USB ports, and the available "rear door charging management" adds multiple storage shelves, a long seat, and even a table. In other words, this vehicle is designed to be enjoyed while parked.
Driving the Lincoln should be easy, especially on the highway. Ford's hands-free driving system on the highway, BlueCruise, comes standard. Like GM's Super Cruise, it allows the vehicle to drive hands-free on the highway, maintaining its lane and carefully managing the gas and brake pedals. However, it must be supervised, but it alleviates much of the stress that comes from long trips.
The vehicle is also available in two Black Label editions, called Enlighten and Atmospheric. The higher-end version comes with a seat called "Perfect Position" that can be adjusted in 30 directions. The interior is adorned with real wood and luxurious leather, along with what the company calls a "crystal-inspired audio control knob." The "Enlighten" edition is the lighter version with beige seats, gray accents, and birch wood touches, while the "Atmospheric" edition is the quietest of the two, featuring gray leather seats, black floors, and copper accents. Both versions include captain's chairs in the second row, along with a 28-speaker sound system.
The pricing for the 2025 Navigator has not been announced yet, and the new truck is expected to go on sale next spring.
