The 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz has undergone slight exterior updates, with a more luxurious interior while retaining previous engine options, especially highlighting the XRT model's characteristics. When it first appeared in July 2023, it was merely a cosmetic upgrade for the vehicle. However, things have changed now, although not significantly. All 2025 Santa Cruz models benefit from some simple but important external updates.
Design Updates
The new front face design features a rectangular grille, replacing the previous V-shaped grille, presenting more streamlined and symmetrical lines, making the Santa Cruz look more like a traditional pickup truck.
Aside from the new wheel designs and the special rear of the XRT, the front is the only change on the exterior.
Speaking of the XRT, Hyundai has equipped it with all-terrain tires to help it maintain good performance on unpaved surfaces. Previously, the XRT had the same tires as the other models. The grille design of the XRT is unique, and the front and rear bumpers are specially designed to provide a more aggressive look suited for off-road use. Additionally, noticeable red tow hooks have been added to the front, with the XRT version equipped with exclusive 18-inch wheels.
Interior Revolution
Internally, the changes are more obvious. The new dashboard design is inspired by the recently updated Tucson, featuring a curved panoramic display that includes the driver’s display and two central infotainment screens. Each screen can be up to 12.3 inches in size, positioned within a new dashboard that has a shelf above the glove compartment. In the center, there’s a set of touch controls for audio and climate settings. The gear shift remains in its place. A new steering wheel has also been added, resembling that of the Tucson.
Hyundai has also provided more technology. Online updates are now possible, and all models feature wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, the connected car technology Bluelink+ has been included, along with Hyundai Pay payment systems. Hyundai's 2Touch digital key allows locking or unlocking the car using a smartphone. For safety, a front attention warning has been added. The XRT also features standard surround view cameras and blind spot cameras.

Prices will be announced as the sale date approaches. For reference, the starting price of the 2024 Santa Cruz is $28,275, while the top-tier Limited version is priced at $42,695.
