The 2025 Buick Enclave is the first vehicle equipped with GM's Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance system. This technology is available across all trims, and the design is inspired by the Wildcat EV concept car, featuring a stylish exterior. The new vehicle comes with new headlights, cross tail lights, and a wide grille that is very appealing.
Duncan Aldred, Buick's global vice president, stated: "With the launch of our flagship SUV Enclave, our lineup is now complete with updated or all-new vehicles." He added, "The unique and sculpted design gives the vehicle a confident look, while the technology enhances the driving experience."
The new Enclave is longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor. However, its engine has been downsized from a 3.6-liter V6 to a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine. Fortunately, this new engine is small yet powerful, increasing the horsepower from 310 in the old model to 328 in the new one.
As the only available engine, it is paired with a turbocharger and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The model will be offered with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options, capable of towing up to 2268 kg.
Inside, Buick focused on high-tech features, including a new 30-inch display, the largest in its class. It extends from behind the steering wheel to the center console, integrating the infotainment system and instrument cluster.
Additionally, the new Enclave comes with standard wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It includes seven standard camera views to assist in navigating tight spaces. It also comes with a rich array of standard safety technologies, such as blind-spot steering assistance, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and lane-keeping assistance.
Moreover, the base model also features multi-color ambient lighting and an automatic sensing power liftgate. The front seats offer heating and electric adjustments, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, and 20-inch wheels.
The Sport Touring model adds a flat-bottom steering wheel, ST badge, exclusive interior trim, a glossy black grille, and 20-inch glossy black wheels.
Finally, Avenir models come with a 16-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system, cooled seats, and 22-inch wheels. They also offer a panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and continuously variable damping control for a balanced ride. The second and third-row seats can fold electrically, and a heads-up display is included.
The vehicle is set to be manufactured at GM's Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan. Reservations are expected to open later this summer. Buick has not yet announced pricing for the new model.
