When this car is mentioned, I recall fond memories of my early years in test driving and automotive writing. Launched in 2020 as Audi's second electric vehicle, it captivated us at a luxurious hotel event. We experienced its thrilling acceleration firsthand, with its astonishing 590 hp (637 hp with boost mode) and 830 Nm torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.1 seconds.
At that time, sporty electric cars were emerging, and these numbers were mind-blowing. Today, such numbers are common among luxury EVs, especially the Chinese ones. By 2025, Audi had to update the car, injecting more power to reignite passion among its fans, and adjust its driving dynamics to make it eat the corners for breakfast.
The 2025 Audi RS e-tron GT takes its power from dual electric motors providing all-wheel drive, now reaching an impressive 912 hp and 1026 Nm torque. This enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a mere 2.4 seconds. Imagine hitting such speeds so swiftly; it's an exhilarating experience not for the faint-hearted.
While its appearance remains almost unchanged, it has become wider and more rounded. To me and many enthusiasts, it remains more beautiful than any Mercedes or Tesla — truly the most stunning electric sports car. Photos don't do it justice; seeing it with LED matrix headlights on the read in real life feels like witnessing a beastly presence.
The suspension system has been refined for improved road interaction, actively absorbing shocks to prevent roll and sway on sharp turns. We can say it might hit the apex like a motorcycle during corners for optimal speed and control. Sensors, radars, and computers work harmoniously for seamless operation.
A separate hydraulic pump connects to each damper via high-pressure lines with valves adjusting rebound and compression curves instantly to prevent roll in the Audi RS e-tron GT's body.
This system stands apart from others by interacting dynamically with suspension torque rather than merely adjusting shock absorbers post-turns.
The interior is clearly upgraded; the steering wheel is flat in the upper and lower section. The carbon fiber is simply breath-taking, along with the Alcantara and the red buttons on the steering wheel.
Though not track-designed due to its weight, Audi RS E-Tron GT remains a luxury sports car fit for daily driving without compromising exceptional performance — always ready to deliver an adrenaline rush whenever needed.
