The 2025 Acura RDX features a new front grille design with simple improvements in the interior. The updates primarily focus on the changes to the front grille, retaining the overall design while reducing the size of the frame and adding new touches in the center. There are no other obvious external changes.

Basic versions come with sporty black exterior accents and 19-inch black wheels. Meanwhile, the higher-performing A-Spec versions offer more black accents and 20-inch ten-spoke gray wheels, or black wheels if the advanced package for the A-Spec edition is added. Acura has also introduced three new body colors: Urban Pearl Gray, Canyon River Blue, and Solar Silver.

Interior changes also focus on enhancing details without radical changes. Current RDX owners will notice that the new console features larger cup holders and easier access to the wireless smartphone charger. The 10.2-inch infotainment screen now has a new display mode when the driver activates Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Higher trims also offer full leather upholstery and ambient lighting on the new console, along with additional lighting on the front and rear speakers.

The powertrain remains unchanged for 2025, continuing with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, powering all four wheels, and capable of sending up to 70 percent of the engine's torque to the rear axle.
