Acura continues with its unique design strategy by introducing two facelift versions of the RDX instead of launching an all-new generation. This approach is evident in the 2025 Acura RDX, where the most notable update is the new front grille. While the overall design of the grille remains unchanged, its frame has been reduced in size, and new touches have been added in the center. No other significant external changes are apparent.

The base models come with sporty exterior accents in glossy black along with 19-inch black wheels. The luxury version features body-colored lower accents. For the higher-performance A-Spec versions, more black accents and 20-inch ten-spoke wheels are available in gray or black if the luxury package is added. Acura has also introduced three new paint colors: Urban Pearl Gray, Canyon River Blue, and Solar Silver.

Interior changes are also focused on enhancing details without major alterations. Current RDX owners will notice that the center console has been revamped, now featuring larger cup holders and easier access to the wireless smartphone charger. The 10.2-inch infotainment screen has a new display mode when the driver activates Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Higher trims also offer full leather upholstery, ambient lighting on the new console, and additional lighting on the front and rear speakers.

The powertrain remains unchanged for 2025, continuing with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that drives all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission. It can send up to 70 percent of the engine's torque to the rear axle.
